Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations
- Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud
- Contribute to the development and testing of scripts to enhance workflows
- Share insights on the complexities of the European Sovereign Cloud with service teams
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering working with hardware, software, networking, operating systems
- Experience scripting processes in a language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Solid understanding of Linux and networking, and ability to troubleshoot and anticipate problems
- Able to lead the creation, revision, and/or improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs)
