Main Responsibilities
- Act as a technical partner to leadership, shaping the architectural vision
- Serve as an embedded expert in squads, guiding complex technical decisions and unlocking execution
- Operate as a multiplier for the whole engineering organization, raising technical quality and helping teams adopt modern patterns
- Influence at the organizational level through clarity, expertise, and deep problem-solving
- Help squads build systems that align with Ankorstore's long-term modular platform strategy to bring the most value to customers
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in Staff+, Tech Lead, or equivalent senior IC roles
- Proven ability to design, evolve, and scale complex distributed systems
- Experience driving architectural initiatives inside fast-paced product organizations
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain modeling
- Strong hands-on proficiency in one or more of Ankorstore's core backend languages (PHP, Go)
- Demonstrated influence across multiple teams without formal authority
- Excellent communication skills—able to simplify and explain architecture to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in English
