The Role

As a Staff Android Engineer, you are part of a rapidly growing Engineering and Product department driving Oviva forward. In close collaboration with Product Management, Design, Quality Assurance and other internal stakeholders, you and your team are building and contributing to Oviva's mobile products that our patients interact with—and as such, have a strong positive social impact.

You're working in an agile environment and are a senior member of a cross-functional squad designing, implementing and delivering great new features to our patient-facing apps.

Job responsibilities

As a part of the team, you would:

• Developing and maintaining Oviva's mobile apps by implementing new features or improving and maintaining existing ones
• Collaborating with squad members on quality, technical design, security & architecture in compliance with standards and concepts
• Fixing bugs including proper root cause analyses to ensure issues do not occur again
• Participating in product discovery, translating product requirements into technical tasks
• Contributing to agile meetings including standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and OKR sessions
