Senior Data Scientist - LLM & AI Automation (m/f/nb)

Responsibilities

• Work in an international delivery team that builds world-class Machine learning models for Conrad Group
• Take ownership of implementing ML models to improve real-time customers and partners experience
• Contribute to the impact of AI at Conrad by enabling data-driven decision support
• Define and continuously optimize your models using KPIs
• Develop and deploy AI-powered automation workflows combining traditional ML with modern LLM capabilities
• Implement RAG systems using cloud AI platforms and integrate them with existing data infrastructure
• Create proof-of-concepts for AI use cases identified across the organization

Requirements

• M.Sc. (or Ph.D.) in statistics, math, computer science, or relevant Hands-on experience
• 3+ years of practical experience as a Data Scientist
• Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
• Experience in communicating your findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good understanding of Python and its ecosystem, especially frameworks oriented to data science such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn
• Experience with vector embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, and integration with vector stores (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, AlloyDB)
• Experience with prompt engineering with different LLM providers, experience with few shot learning and LLM grounding
• Experience with designing and implementing multi agent systems with python libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or non-code such as n8n, Zapier or Make
