(Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d)

We are a family-run Munich-based scale-up with over 400 employees ("daymakers") at 5 locations in Europe - further growth is inevitable.

Responsibilities

• Manage our Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and associated processes to ensure high data quality and fast, reliable data provisioning
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to develop and implement data infrastructure in a hybrid environment
• Contribute to creating detailed reports and in-depth analyses to advance our data strategy
• Continuously improve data quality and flows, identify optimization potential, and implement solutions
• Implement data integrations using scripts and platform methods, and standardize data provisioning across the organization

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge in SQL, Python, statistics, and database design, with mastery of the entire data pipeline
• Ability to develop efficient solutions to optimize data processes
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills in both German and English to present complex technical topics clearly
