Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale Emma's technology platform to become a global leader in sleep comfort products
• Develop innovative, user-friendly web frontends using Vue.js or React.js and TypeScript
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs, integrating with internal systems and external partners
• Work with AWS services like SNS, SQS, and RDS to build event-driven, scalable solutions for fulfillment and logistics
• Own the tech stack across frontend and backend, driving improvements in reliability and performance
• Enhance cloud-based CI/CD pipelines, DevOps culture, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
• Contribute ideas and help identify opportunities for technical and process improvements

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing backend services, preferably using TypeScript (Node.js) or Go
• Practical experience building REST APIs using Express or Fastify in production environments
• Extensive knowledge of computer science fundamentals, software design patterns, and continuous delivery
• Several years of proven software development and operation experience, ideally in an e-commerce business
• Expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Vue.js or React.js
• Experience with cloud-based environments, ideally AWS and Kubernetes, and integration of distributed systems
• Understanding of the importance of a well-organized codebase and documentation, with testing capabilities
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and basic monitoring and operational best practices
